The Łegóhlı̨ Early Learning Society is dedicated to providing a nurturing, culturally relevant learning environment for children in Norman Wells, Northwest Territories.
Our mission is to support the development and well-being of young children through our high-quality programming, grounded in Early Childhood Education and enriched by Sahtú Dene and Métis values and principles. We aim to foster a vibrant community where every child can learn, play, and thrive.
Currently, we are fundraising to secure capital funds to build an Early Childhood Education Facility in Norman Wells. We have completed Class A designs and are awaiting confirmation on federal and territorial funding support to start building.
In the meantime, we are focussing on developing our Bush pre-school program – Sahtú Sprouts. Stay tuned for updates!

Our board members and staff come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique skills and perspectives to the table.
